In Her Own Words:
I am a law clerk with Chang Advocacy Professional Corporation.
During my career, I have provided legal assistance to lawyers in the areas of civil litigation, wills and estates, family law, real estate law, and corporate/commercial law. In addition to file management, legal drafting, real estate registration and incorporations, I have also successfully appeared before the Small Claims Court and before the Landlord and Tenant Board.
I also held the position of Manager of Legal Affairs at a financial institution based in Mississauga, where I coordinated with that company’s legal counsel in matters relating to, among other things, civil litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency, debtor-creditor, debt collection and corporate matters.
I understand the importance of maintaining positive working relationships with clients, the court, other counsel and co-workers in ensuring timely client service and being attentive to our clients’ respective and individual needs.
